Shot in a military-backed institution in Pakistan, Unfeeling is a portrait of male vulnerability, told through arcs of desire, heartbreak and defense. The film explores the interplay and shifting states of being between subject and object.
Unfeeling was exhibited at Wolfson College, Oxford in 2022, and selected by curator Helen Eel Robinson for the group show and publication ‘Love and Chaos’ at The Alchemy Experiment in Glasgow, Scotland (October - November 2021). It was exhibited during Oxford Brickwork at The Jam Factory, as part of the Oxfordshire Art Weeks, in April 2019. It is an official selection for the 2019 issue of the art anthology, The Mays, where it is viewable online in the digital anthology.
